Clocsy helps you organize and share countdowns and reminders. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our use of Google user data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: name, email, username, profile image, authentication data, and communication preferences.
  • Usage data: device information, IP address, pages viewed, and interactions to improve reliability and performance.
  • Content data: events, reminders, messages, shared links, followers, and any files or media you upload.
  • Payment data: billing address and transaction identifiers processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Integrations: data from services you connect (e.g., Google Calendar events you explicitly choose to sync).

2. How We Use Data

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Services.
  • Sync events, reminders, and notifications you request (including via Google Calendar).
  • Communicate with you about account activity, updates, and support.
  • Personalize content, such as suggested templates or reminders.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We may share data with service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processing) who are contractually required to protect it and use it only to provide services to us.
  • If you publish or share events or profiles, the content and related metadata (e.g., event name, time, likes) may be visible to others depending on your settings.
  • We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Clocsy, our users, or others.

4. Google API Services & Calendar Access

If you connect Google Calendar or other Google APIs, Clocsy accesses only the minimum information needed to deliver features you request, such as reading events for display or creating events you initiate. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising or unrelated purposes, and we do not sell Google user data.

Our use and transfer of Google information adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including Limited Use requirements. You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account settings or through Clocsy settings, though some features may stop working.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, and product analytics. You can adjust your browser settings to manage cookies, but some features may not function correctly without them.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it.

7. Your Choices

  • Update account information and preferences in settings.
  • Control sharing and visibility of events and profiles.
  • Disconnect integrations (e.g., Google) at any time.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal obligations.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No method is 100% secure; please protect your account credentials and notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.

9. Children's Data

Clocsy is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. International Users

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. We apply appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice (for example, by email or in-product). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
